🧑‍⚕️ About Dr. Md. Sarwar Jahan

Dr. Md. Sarwar Jahan, a respected Consultant of Orthopedic and Spine Surgery at NITOR (Pangu Hospital), was born in 1981 in Haridagachhi village, Mohanpur Upazila, Rajshahi.

He completed his MBBS from Dhaka Medical College in 2006 and pursued postgraduate training under renowned professors from:

    • BSMMU

    • Dhaka Medical College Hospital

    • Rajshahi Medical College Hospital

    • National Institute of Traumatology & Orthopedic Rehabilitation (NITOR)

In January 2019, Dr. Sarwar earned his prestigious FCPS degree in Orthopedic Surgery from the Bangladesh College of Physicians & Surgeons (BCPS). He was the 1st DMCAN and 7th BCPS Fellow in Orthopedic Surgery.

🎓 Advanced Spine Surgery Training

Dr. Sarwar underwent specialized training in Orthopedic & Spine Surgery at NITOR, under the direct supervision of Professor Dr. Md. Shah Alam, a leading spine surgeon and Vice President of the Bangladesh Spine Society.

Prof. Dr. Shah Alam retired as the Head of Orthopedic & Spine Surgery at Dhaka Medical College Hospital. He is the founding chairman of Bangladesh Spine & Orthopedic Hospital (BSOH), the first and only specialized Spine & Orthopedic center in Bangladesh, affiliated with the Asia Pacific Spine Society (APSS).

Currently, Dr. Sarwar serves as a Consultant of Orthopedic & Spine Surgery at NITOR, which is:

    • The 2nd largest orthopedic hospital in the world

📖 জীবনী (Bengali Version)

ডা: মো: সারোয়ার জাহান রাজশাহী জেলার মোহনপুর উপজেলার হরিদাগাছী গ্রামে ১৯৮১ সালে জন্মগ্রহণ করেন।
তিনি ২০০৬ সালে ঢাকা মেডিকেল কলেজ থেকে এমবিবিএস পাশ করেন।
পরবর্তীতে বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিব মেডিকেল বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়, ঢাকা মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতাল, রাজশাহী মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতাল এবং নিটোর (পঙ্গু হাসপাতাল) থেকে পোস্টগ্রাজুয়েট ট্রেনিং সম্পন্ন করেন।

২০১৯ সালের জানুয়ারিতে তিনি বাংলাদেশ কলেজ অব ফিজিসিয়ানস অ্যান্ড সার্জনস (BCPS) থেকে এফসিপিএস (অর্থোপেডিকস) ডিগ্রি অর্জন করেন।

তিনি অধ্যাপক ডা: মো: শাহ আলম স্যারের অধীনে উচ্চতর স্পাইন সার্জারি প্রশিক্ষণ গ্রহণ করেন এবং বর্তমানে তাঁর গবেষণা সহযোগী হিসেবে কাজ করছেন।

বর্তমানে ডা: সারোয়ার নিটোরে কনসালটেন্ট হিসেবে অর্থোপেডিক ও স্পাইন বিভাগে কর্মরত। তিনি বিভিন্ন জাতীয় ও আন্তর্জাতিক সম্মেলনে অংশগ্রহণ করেছেন এবং গবেষণাপত্র উপস্থাপন করেছেন। কিছু গবেষণাপত্র ইতোমধ্যে Asian Spine Journal-এ প্রকাশিত হয়েছে।
